We dreamed of a space where connections are nurtured, inspirations are shared, and our traditions continue to thrive. Today, we are thrilled to announce that this vision is no longer confined to just a few; a much wider support base is joining us, and our inaugural event promises an impressive turnout.
The First Step: Saraswati Puja 2025
Saraswati Puja 2025 marks the beginning of an ambitious journey for NEOBA. Our vision is simple yet profound: to create a vibrant and inclusive community that celebrates our rich culture while fostering personal and collective growth. Dreams are often lofty, but we are committed to grounding them in reality. Our first step was drafting a robust constitution—a foundation to guide the organization and ensure harmony as we grow.
Next on our agenda was planning for Durga Puja 2025. We are excited to share that the Maa Durga idol is currently being crafted and is expected to arrive in Cleveland within the next 3–4 months. This milestone signifies our dedication to honoring traditions while paving the way for future celebrations.
What’s Next for 2025?
While Saraswati Puja, Picnic and Durga Puja are significant highlights, they are just the beginning. For the current year, we are also evaluating options to include a lively year-end holiday party. Additionally, we may host a cultural program showcasing the talents of local artists and members, featuring dance, music, and live performances.
This year is about laying the groundwork for a long-term vision. Establishment expenses, such as procuring idols, utensils, and necessary fees, are a priority. Equally important is understanding our community—identifying active members and patrons who may participate in larger events like Durga Puja.
